Can Roboran H for black and white dogs be used for Rhodesian ridgebacks?
Roboran H for black and white dogs can safely be used for all breeds and all colours of dogs. Unlike Roboran H for coloured dogs, it does not contain beta-carotene and does not affect red pigment. It affects the growth of the fur, its shine and structure, and that’s why its effects manifest positively in all breeds.
How long can I use Roboran Gel?
For a minimum of two months.
At home we have a Maine Coon cat. Which of your preparations and in which dosages do you recommend for him?
To support the musculoskeletal system Roboran Gel for cats. To increase the quality and colour of the fur Roboran H for black and white cats, or for coloured cats (according to the colour type). For Maine Coon cats, you should use dosages for 10-12 kg of body weight.
How does taurine function in cats?
In cats, taurine has a big impact on their sense of sight and especially their night vision. It also has an effect on the proper functioning of the muscles and the heart.
What is the dosage of Roboran for exotics and how to administer it?
It is administered in a 1% concentration mixed in to feed.
Is it ok to administer Roboran Klasik for cats even when it is fed on a complete feed (granules, canned food)?
ROBORAN Klasik for cats is intended to supplement the diet of cats that are mainly fed on meat. Granules from quality brands contain enough vitamins and minerals, and it’s not suitable to add other vitamin-mineral supplements to them. In your case, using ROBORAN Klasik would be justified only if you alternate feedings between granules and meat servings (then you can mix it into the meat) or if the cat is sick and needs more nutrients – but in this case of course the use must be directed by a professional.
How is Roboran H for coloured dogs different from Roboran H for black and white dogs?
Both types of Roboran H have very similar ingredients. They mainly differ in that Roboran for coloured dogs additionally contains beta-carotene, which can affect the red pigment in the fur. That’s why this preparation is recommended for those dogs where red or brown characteristics are desirable or that have this colour on the whole body (e.g. German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Irish Setter). On the other hand, Roboran H for black and white dogs supports the quality of the fur without affecting the red pigment, and it’s suitable for those dogs where brown tints are undesirable (white, black, grey, blue, salt and pepper coloured dogs). We choose Roboran H for black and white dogs without worry when we are not sure how beta-carotene would affect the colour in a certain dog.
Should I use Roboran Gel for my dog even if it doesn’t have any problems with mobility?
Roboran Gel is absolutely intended for preventative use. It can be used in all periods of the dog’s life.
In young animals, it assists with proper growth of the musculoskeletal system, and is especially suitable for puppies of large breeds.
In adult animals, its role is particularly in case of physical strain, for example for dogs in sport training or work.
In older individuals, chondroprotectives are irreplaceable as a prevention of arthritis and other degenerative diseases. Using it often enables the animal to live to a ripe old age in a good physical condition, because it makes his movements easier.
After what period will the effects of Hippovit Gel appear?
After using a chondroprotective, it’s first necessary to consider the whole feed ration of the animal and ensure that it contains the proper amount and a suitable ratio of individual nutrients. Minerals are especially important in this area – e.g. calcium, phosphorus, selenium and vitamins C and D.
The selected suitable preparation with chondroprotective effects should be given in the correct dose according to the animal’s weight, daily and over the long-term, a proven period being two months. It’s possible to prolong this period.
The effects can be seen within one month. In our customers’ experience, the shortest period after which a positive effect was seen in certain animals with the preparations Roboran Gel and Hippovit Gel is one week.
The results and the speed of the effects of course depend on the type of disease or damage to the musculoskeletal system and its seriousness.
Can I use Roboran H for b&w dogs to prevent or to treat skin eczema or to speed up shedding?
Roboran H for b&w dogs is absolutely intended for preventative use to ensure the good physical condition of the skin and the growth of high quality fur. It is also used very well as part of the treatment of various skin problems, like surface wounds, eczema and other skin inflammations, but in this case a veterinarian should prescribe the basic treatment.
Roboran H for b&w dogs works very well during fur shedding, ensuring its proper growth and thus greatly speeding up the shedding.
For beagles, is it better to use Roboran for black and white dogs or Roboran for coloured dogs?
